Solomon- Registered name Spanish Skipper
“The Lord gives his people strength. The Lord blesses them with peace.” Psalms 29:11 NLT Solomon is a red roan colored Quarter Horse gelding who was donated to HTF as a young three year old. Ms. Hil used to tell people he was 3 going on 30 because he was so laid back. He was born on April 2, 2013, and was born with congenital lordosis, or swayback. But that is not a disability to him. He is very comfortable under saddle with a special pad just for him! Solomon is Ms. Logan’s pride and joy. She and Solomon have a very special bond. He even will come running to greet her at the pasture gate. She’s worked hard and trained him for Western riding, specifically ranch horse competition. Solomon is a very peaceful natured horse. When he was donated to us, he really didn’t have a name he went by. One day praying, the Lord gave Ms. Hil the name Solomon meaning peace. See more of Solomon here. |
