Question 1 How long have you been a therapy horse?
I have been a therapy horse since 2016. Before that, I was training to run barrels but I didn’t like it. Ms. Hil threw all her best tests at me to see if I would work out here. I passed with flying colors and she named me Solomon which means peace.
Question 2 Did you know Blaze?
I came to HTF a month after Blaze passed away.
Question 3 Who is your best friend?
Asa is my best friend. We do a lot together with our humans, Logan and Ms. Hil. When Judah and Chesed try to pick on Asa I will tell them to back off.
Question 4 What is your favorite activity to do?
My favorite thing to do is eat peppermints. I also enjoy reviewing skills that I’ve learned for ranch riding.
Question 5 What do you love most about HTF?
My favorite part of every day is beating Asa and Judah to the barn for breakfast in the morning.
Question 6 What is something most people don’t know about you?
Most people don’t know that I have a condition called congenital lordosis. This means I was born with a swayback. It doesn’t affect my movement at all but I have to wear a specially made saddle pad and saddle so I’ll be comfortable.
