March 2023: Neriah
Question 1 How long have you been a therapy horse?
I came to HTF in 2017. I started working in the program summer 2020 full time.
Question 2 Did you know Blaze?
I never had the chance to meet Blaze but my cousin Ryefel talks about him a lot.
Question 3 Who is your best friend?
Ryefel and Skye are my best friends here at HTF. Skye was the first horse on the farm that spent time with me but I spend the most time with Ryefel.
Question 4 What is your favorite activity to do?
My favorite thing to do is to help those who come with struggles from trauma and loss. I like helping them learn how to trust and heal. I always seek them out when they come to visit.
Question 5 What do you love most about HTF?
I enjoy the people I work with. Since coming to HTF, I’ve met many wonderful people who spend a lot of time grooming and petting me. I feel safest with people who are calm and gentle with me.
Question 6 What is something most people don’t know about you?
A lot of people know my story and have heard how far I’ve come since coming to HTF. One thing people may not know about me is I love to go on adventures off the farm. I really enjoy being out of the arena and going on trail rides.
