Question 1 How long have you been a therapy horse?
I started out as a therapy horse in 2004 to do jumping work but I was unable due to an injury. I began working again as a therapy horse in 2006 as a therapy horse in a different state.
Question 2 Did you ever know Blaze?
Yes, I met Blaze when I moved to GA in 2005. He was the boss. One time, he chased me away from the hay and Summer intervened and cut him off.
Question 3 Who is your best friend?
Summer is my best friend. We met first on a trailer traveling to GA from Washington State.
Question 4 What is your favorite activity to do?
Anywhere that Summer goes is my favorite place to be. I feel most confident on the trail with my best friend beside me. We spend a lot of time together in the pasture and even get to work together most every day.
Question 5 What do you love most about HTF?
I have a winter blanket with the night sky on it because my name is Skye. It’s my favorite because I don’t like cold weather.
Question 6 What is something most people don’t know about you?
Before being a therapy horse, I was a civil war re-enactment horse in cavalry charge. I moved here from Washington State. I have food allergies so be careful with the treats you try to give me.
